At the forefront of this m ovement was the BC Ethics Harmonization Initiative\, which has now become Research Ethics BC. By working with our colleagues in all the major unive rsities\, health authorities\, and research intensive colleges in BC\, we have successfully launched models for harmonized research ethics review in cluding a common electronic platform for the review process.
