General Message for SPOR Projects and Grants (March 26, 2020)
BC AHSN, which includes the BC SUPPORT Unit, Clinical Trials BC and Research Ethics BC, understands and appreciates the challenges being posed by COVID-19 and the implications for project timelines. We want to ensure that all of the work we fund has the opportunity to deliver the maximum impact through full and successful completion of projects. As such, we will strive to be as flexible as possible, and we will communicate as soon as further information is received from our funders, including the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) and the Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research (MSFHR).
Office Closed Until Further Notice (Mar 17, 2020)
BC AHSN recognizes the urgent need to keep our staff team, volunteers, partners and guests safe – and we want to minimize transmission of COVID-19 by limiting close contact with others at this time.
Due to current conditions and risks associated with the COVID-19 outbreak, effective March 18th, 2020, our Vancouver office is closed until further notice.
BC AHSN (including BC SUPPORT Unit, Clinical Trials BC And Research Ethics BC) staff team members will be reachable by phone and by email, but will not be physically located at our Vancouver office.
Our management team remains vigilant and is monitoring the situation in real time. We’ll be responding rapidly as conditions evolve on our website and social media channels.
In the meantime, please be safe and stay healthy.
President, BC AHSN
