Demonstration Projects

What is a “Demonstration Project?” Demonstration Projects are research projects that are being carried out in the context of the BC SUPPORT Unit.

Demonstration projects test and measure the effects of program changes in real-world situations (Definition sourced from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention).

The purpose of these projects is to show how the work done by the Unit will function in practice, highlighting its capabilities and the short-term impacts it will have. The BC SUPPORT Unit is increasing the quality and impact of patient-oriented research across BC by facilitating and studying two initial demonstration projects: the REACH BC (BC Health Research Connection Project) and the BC Emergency Medicine Network.
