The BC SUPPORT (SUpport for People and Patient-Oriented Research and Trials) Unit is a multi-partner organization created to support patient-oriented research in British Columbia. We provide services, training, and support to stakeholders engaged in patient-oriented research. Our signature annual conference is called Putting Patients First. Find out more about us.
Patient-oriented research (POR) requires the input of patients, researchers, health care providers and health system decision makers. We aim to support POR through two main areas of focus: doing and studying. We support patient-oriented research teams to do research, and help bring research teams together to study the best ways to do POR. Find out more about our services.
