On May 9, the Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research (MSFHR) and the BC SUPPORT Unit will host Health xChange, a PechaKucha event to showcase creative knowledge translation (KT) activities involving patients and the public. View the event poster (PDF) here.
This fun and informal event (consisting of presentations of 20 slides, shown for 20 seconds each) will provide a forum for health researchers and practitioners to share exciting KT work happening in BC, and a space to network with others who want to make an impact.
Most people who go into health research — in the lab, at the bedside or on the streets — do so because they want to make a positive difference. But it’s rare that we get together as a health research community to hear from those using novel approaches to ensure health research has a real impact.
Want to share your creative KT activity at Health xChange? If so, please send a brief description of your initiative, project or tool to firstname.lastname@example.org by March 1, 2017.
